Cave Girl handmade soap & gifts was originally started as ccSuds. The company and the name evolved into Cave Girl handmade soap & gifts a few years ago. The inspiration for the business name came from a uniquely designed home theater in the theme of a cave, combined with the flare to be different. Naturally the slogan “Our Stuff Rocks” followed. The original owner and creator of the business, as well as the owner of the inspiring home theater, is Cammy Hawn.

After the adoption of two beautiful little girls and a shift in life’s focus, Cammy partnered with Molly Vander Horn. Both Cammy and Molly came from the business world and wanted to be able to have a life balance that would allow them to be home with their families. Both Cave Girls share the same values and goals. They want to give their customers a special handcrafted product that they will crave to have every day and an experience that will keep them wanting more. They share a common love for their handcrafted products...they think it rocks...and you will too.

The business currently has 16 distinct soap scents along with a new line of bath bombs, each exceptional in it’s own way. Some of these soaps have natural botanicals, such as poppy seeds, finely ground coffee beans from Higher Grounds Fair Trade Coffee Company located in Traverse City, and oatmeal, which help to exfoliate the skin.

One of the other unique features of the soap is the customized hand stamping in each bar. These stamps include personalized business stamps for a small one time fee or a complementary generalized stamp for the holiday or just because. Our list of stamps as well as the scents can be found on our website. The soaps have been great for the use of fundraisers, wholesale for a store, wedding or baby shower favors, for gifts or for your own personal use. We truly enjoy brewing, cutting, trimming, stamping, packaging and especially delivering each bar of soap and hope that every time you use one of our soaps or give it as a gift, you feel a special connection to its source.
